I have seen similar posts in support threads, but not exactly the same.

 

I have been using this laptop for a long time with very few issues, but recently the fan started to whine excessively when just browsing the internet, so I decided to clean out behind the back panel. All I did was take off the panel and use compressed air to clear out the dust, but was unable to turn the computer back on afterwards. The power button and charge indicator work fine, and immediately after boot the keyboard lights turn on, but after about 5 seconds all the keyboard lights turn off, and the computer becomes unresponsive. I have tried using an external monitor (shows nothing) and booting with the windows/B keys (same result as normal boot attempt).

 

Would appreciate any insight as I would really like to be able to continue using this computer, even though it is well past it's warranty.
