15-ay101nv
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello there guys,

so basically what happened is my girlfriend owns a 15-ay101nv and she uses it just for her university assignments and duties , until suddenly yesterday she got an overheating windows notification and then the laptop proceeded to shutdown, after that she was able to turn it back on and continue her work as per usual , until an hour ago the laptop she left the laptop by itself for 2-3 minutes she went back and the laptop was turned off , but it wouldn't boot back on , we tried everything , the light that indicates that the charger is working is on , we tried removing the battery already and trying to boot and i found a hard reset for the battery that didn't work either , it's sort of an emergency so any feedback will be greatly appreciated since HP has no one on staff willing to help.

Thank you in advance,

Andreas

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

This sounds like hardware related issue with the computer as it's not powering on or booting up.

I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/

Note: Disconnect all the connected devices from the computer including power cord and try to turn it back on after few hours sometimes this fixes the issue.

Please feel free to contact us here anytime you need any further assistance. Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
