Hi. I got my laptop 1.5 yrs ago with a two year warranty. Now HP is saying my warranty is up although I have .5 yrs left. As well my computer shut down on its own and now does not power up. There is a red light by where the power plugs into. It dosent power on with on without the power plugged in.

@CompCraze, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Please perform the below steps:

Perform a hard reset (Remove all cables from the AIO, hold the power button in for 30 seconds, reconnect the cables and restart the PC)

If the issue persists, Access the BIOS by tapping on F10 during the restart and if the computer restarts while you are in the BIOS screen, it would confirm a hardware failure and you need to contact HP for hardware service.

However, if it doesn't turn off while you are in BIOS, restart the computer and Tap on F11, to attempt a system restore followed by a system recovery to resolve the issue (follow the screen instructions for details).

As for the HPSA "straightening itself out" -- it might or it might not.  It is more important what HP thinks than what the software thinks; that is why you just need to make a phone call to make sure the database at HP is OK.  Once you have done that, you can ignore the HPSA -- just turn off the message about the warranty check

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
