Product: HP SPECTRE 13-V000 NOTEBOOK

Hi, I've gone to turn my laptop on and black screen with blue box has popped up. It reads:

' Enter Administrator Password or Power On Password'.

 

I have tried every password I've tried every password I've had on this laptop and none have worked. I've looked online and it seems this is a password that HP has. I have tried the online sites that get the password through the serial number, however, the passwords generated on there have not worked either.

 

Please can somebody help ASAP as I need to use my laptop for work but it wont turn on.

The info you found online is incorrect -- as there are no HP default passwords.

 

If your PC reset your password on you, we can not help in that because we have no access to either the original or the new password.

We are not permitted to assist in resetting passwords due to HP Policy.

For Admin password resets, you have to contact your regional HP Customer Support location directly for assistance.
