Abrupt stand-by, no way to turn it on again

Pavillion 15-cs0029nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone. I turned on my laptop yesterday afternoon (Sunday), after a 12-hours trip by plane and bus.

On Saturday, I used my laptop normally. During the trip it was always in sight and packed up in bubbly wrap (no bumps, no falls, no weird connections to weird wi-fis, fully charged). Once home, I switched it on, plugged the ethernet cable and created a hotspot for my mobile: after a while, a message like "USB not recognised" and it suddenly went in stand-by condition. I immediately tried to turn it on again but nothing works: no lights blinking, no engine working. Just the light beneath the power button going on and off slowly. Any ideas on what happened?
