HP model 15-bs132nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
HP model 15-bs132nr After doing a "critical" HP update my laptop wanted to restart, I agreed..... It never came back to life. I have power, I can hear the processor and/or the hard drive starting. Fan is running. It seems the keyboard is not working, the caps button does not lite... I have created a "bios recovery flash drive" But can't seem to activate the bios recovery process without making the windows+B key press... This is a fairly new machine running windows 10 (64 bit) I really have not used it much at all, and of course the warranty ran out 5 months ago

@Benjam_1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • Was that a BIOS updates which you did?
  • Are you getting any error on the computer or do you see a black screen with a blinking cursor?

Meanwhile, I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and check if it helps.
