Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, i switched my old HDD with anew Samsung (870 evo) SSD 2.5 SATA (not the M.2 where my OS installed on) at the first time windows started normal but it took way longer, after it started it took too long to recognize the new SSD, i copied my files on and everything was fine, then i restarted the laptop and I didn't boot up again, it stays hanging on the HP logo screen

when I disconnect the new SSD it starts normally, can any one tell what is wrong with it?

What is it you are trying to do?

If your plan is to boot Windows from this new SDD, you can not just copy files onto it; instead, you have to use an app to "clone" Windows onto it from your HDD.

Then, since the HDD is the default boot device, you would have to go into the UEFI settings and change the default boot to point to the SDD.
