boot device not found - followed all instructions with f2 and f10 screens but the intel optane is not there.

Typically that message means the hard drive has failed.  Click on F2 as directed by that screen, and from that screen, to see if the hard drive passes or fails.  Then report back with the results.  Without the model, it is not known about the intel optane

Procedure 3: Determine if the Optane memory is installed and working normally.
