Hello,
i am coming back after a while about flashing bios on g62 450sv. I ve downloaded from hp site bios files, have extracted them on folder, and i see (among other files) the file in case, 1425f37.fd. This file is 4.5 mb and supposed to be the right bios for my g62. I took some bios programming tools, i managed reading bios from laptop but the chip size is 4 mb. So i cant install 4.5 mb on 4 mb chip. Is anyone have faced this problem? thank you.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, this sounds like corrupted BIOS and its needs to be flashed by the manufacturer.
