BIOS Update for Pavilion dv6-2140se

Hello,

I'm working on upgrading my laptop hard drive to SSD, but I figured out there's an old BIOS version on my laptop that's also locked (no advanced setting showing) I tried HP checking for updates and it showed me only one newer BIOS version. However, when attempting to upgrade the software shows the new version exactly as the old, so nothing is really changing for some reason. I tried searching for a newer BIOS on the producer's website as well as on the net, but nothing turned positive. 

Can you please help either accessing the advanced setting or getting an update?
My current BIOS as shown in my system summary is InsydeH20 Rev. 3.5 V F1.C  (SMBIOS version 2.6)
The newer version on HP website (which isn't really new, just a month after mine, and not working): V F1.C A

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to update the BIOS on your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you download and install the BIOS from the below link and check if it helps.

Follow the steps in the below article to update the BIOS.

Thank you, but the version you provided is exactly the same I have on my laptop. 

Isn't there any newer one?? or at least can you help me access the "Advanced" options within my BIOS? I think they're hidden.

That is the latest version of BIOS available for your computer and they are no hidden features the BIOS.

There is no option or setting to access the advanced features on the BIOS.
