BIOS update - Notebook won't boot after System Restart

Envy Touchsmart 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I implemented a HP Support recommended BIOS update.  At the end of the update, I was informed that the computer would be restarted to complete the update.

My computer powered up but my screen remained black.  I waited an hour and finally did a hard reset.  Same result...power is on but nothing shows up on my screen.  I did combinations of AC and battery power and but got the same result.

How do I resolve this issue?

Slight correction...my model number is j003cl.

I have also tried to restart using the key press combination (Windows Key + B and then add Power button for 1 sec)

Thanks Ken

BIOS update - Notebook won't boot after System Restart

Hi @kjschrader,

I grasp that you are unable to start your computer. What were the results from the troubleshooting steps provided in the previous document? If none of those steps have helped to determine the issue, as this began when you updated the BIOS, here is a link to HP Notebook PCs - Restoring the BIOS. I am looking forward to your reply.
