Hello there!

I have an issue with my HP 2000 notebook pc.

Seems i had BIOS password set on this a while back when i was in college and i am looking to unlock it. I have completely lost my memory of the password i have set on this. The admin password that i have set to my memory is not functioning now. I need assistance in unlocking it.

According to the Community's Rules of Participation:

 

4d. No posts shall include instructions/directions intended to bypass or subvert security mechanisms such as lock screens, BitLockers, BIOS lock, passwords, fingerprint/biometry scanners, PINs nor any other safety measures.

 

Therefore, this topic is being locked. If you would like help resetting the password on your product, please Contact HP support in your region. 


For cases related to BitLocker issues, please contact Microsoft Support.
