Product: Pavilion 17 e118dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

When I start my my Pavilion 17 e118dx, I get a black screen and my caps locks blinks twice in quick succession which I believe indicates that the BIOS is corrupt. Thus, I have attempted to reinstall the BIOS several times now but, when I attempt to to do so  either from the hard drive or a flash drive, it starts the process but, after displaying the progress bar 6 times, the computer shuts itself off. So, how can I fix this problem?
