Elitebook 840 G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, in my work they gave me a brand new HP Elitebook 840 G6 (bios R70  ver 01.04.06), i was hoping to reset the operating system, but i was stuck trying to make it boot from the USB, the bios is asking me for a password, i´m wondring if the manufacturer set a default password, i asked my boss and he didn´t have any idea

@MarouaneOne

There is no such thing as a default BIOS password.

Since this is a work PC, you would have to take it back to them and have THEM remove the BIOS password.

You have no way to do that, and we have no way to assist you in that.

It's not a work computer anymore, i didn't express myself fluently( because English is my 3rd language ), my boss gave us PC as a gift (cause we kept working even in the pandemic) but the pc is definitely mine now.
