Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to download a bios update to a flash drive to repair ANOTHER HP laptop.After I download it then try to run it my laptop totally freezes.The file opens I tick the agreement then try to save to Flash drive and FREEZE.Tried it a few times to same result.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  

Refer to the Article: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/ish_3894564-1633733-16 Updating the BIOS manually from a USB flash drive.
By the end of the article, you will be able to fix the issue.

As in my initial post after I accept agreement and save file to comes up when I press Next my laptop freezes up.My brother also tried and had same result.

This sounds like BIOS needs to be reloaded by the service center. As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.
