Bios password forgotten HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2

HP Recommended
HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying tu upgrade BIOS as suggested by HP Support Assistant software but sysem asks for a forgotten BIOS password to do that.

Already contacted with HP support in Spain, answer has been "you have to replace the entire motherboard"

I'ts hard to believe tha answer above, thats the reason that I'm posting here, hopefully someone in HP will understand that the answer above will prevent to buy HP laptops by their costumers.

Find below the link to a previous thread closed by an admin without provinding any answer and suggesting to contact HP local support wich I've already done as stated in the thread.

Let me add that this is a laptop still in guarantee period.

Thanks in advance for your support
