I created a new post to do echo with any other users with the same issue. it's incredible that HP release and update without testing or debugging the update.

The best option in case HP decline or won't try to update/resolve this issue is to buy the motherboard replacement >:s

Hello,
We got this from HP today:
Hello,
Thanks for the update.
We have encountered an issue where HP has removed the BIOS from hp.com/HPIA. As a result, please refrain from updating any more PCs until further notice.
To assist with our investigation, we would like to borrow two PCs to send to our lab in the USA. If this is feasible, could you please provide the following information:
Contact person with phone number and email address
Complete pickup address
Serial numbers of both PCs
Please ensure the customer packs the PCs in suitable boxes. I will send DHL shipping labels and custom papers to facilitate the pickup as soon as possible. Remember to remove the SSD to ensure no customer data is shipped with the PCs.
We aim to send both PCs to our lab in Houston, USA, as soon as possible for further analysis.
******************************
They have indeed removed the update file, at this url now shows a "not found" error when trying to download the BIOS.

Did you flash with the new bios 1.17 or the older 1.16?
What do you mean by you cleared it and the recovery worked?
Could you explain what you did, either here or in a PM to me or possibly by providing information to the following blog

above link no longer works. use

I disconnected the battery, connected a chip clip from the C341A programmer and read the BIOS chip (near cooling pipes) then wiped it and wrote a bios I found online, it wrote fine but verification came back wrong. Tried to boot up the laptop and it brought up BIOS recovery and flashed the original bios on.
I suspect it was running previous 1.16 BIOS before the update but I haven’t checked current version.
I searched for d0x9mmb8f0.zip but your chip might be different and I don’t even know if that’s the correct one for yours.
