I am looking for a bios update for HP Pavilion dv7-4073ca Notebook PC.
I am upgrading to an SSD and had hoped to update the bios.
current version is F.13 dated 9/14/2010.
HP support says that the model is not supported and therefore not available
Hoped to find the last update that was available.
Unfortunately i did not ensure I updated my bios regularly.

Hi:
HP never supported your notebook for any other operating system but W7.
Here is the problem...I can give you the links to the BIOS update info and exe files for your notebook, but the files were written to be run in W7.
If you attempt to update the BIOS in W10, I have no idea what the consequences will be. Could range from no problem to dead notebook.
What I would do is to install the SSD with the current BIOS and hope it works, and only experiment with updating the BIOS as a last resort if it doesn't.
Anyway, here they are...
