I was performing a clean install of WIndows 11 on my laptop. And Windows was working fine.
Then I installed the HP support Assistant and I saw that I could install a BIOS Update: F.72 Rev.A
So I downloaded the file with the HP support assistant software .
And installed it and the laptop rebooted, and started the BIOS install. It said it was succesful.
And it rebooted the laptop to a black screen. I left it like that for a while. But nothing happend.
The on/off light is white. And the power light next to the power connector is white.
And when I turn on the computer I can hear fan-spin.
But the screen remains black/dark.
I already made an USB stick with the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI.
I made another USB stick with the new and previous BIOS on it.
And tried booting the laptop with the Winkey + B or V combination.
I removed the CMOS battery from the laptop. And I tried different RAM sticks.
The laptop is out-of-warrenty, so what are my options for support?
What else can I do to recover my laptop?
And how can this brick my laptop?
