I came across your post about the BIOS issue, and wanted to help! I understand that the notebook turned off, while performing a BIOS update, and now the screen will no longer turn on.
To start, can you provide me with the Product Number of the notebook? Here is a link you can use that will help you find your Model and Product Number:

In the meantime, try restoring the BIOS using the following document:
