Black screen but all lights still come on...

HP 15 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was in the middle of a BIOS update and my laptop unplugged so now the screen won't turn on.

I came across your post about the BIOS issue, and wanted to help!  I understand that the notebook turned off, while performing a BIOS update, and now the screen will no longer turn on.

 

To start, can you provide me with the Product Number of the notebook?  Here is a link you can use that will help you find your Model and Product Number:
HP Customer Support - Products

 

In the meantime, try restoring the BIOS using the following document: 

HP Notebook PCs - Restoring the BIOS
