Spectre laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My spectre laptop decided to give me a black screen today and haven't been able to boot it up since.  Only 3 years old and hardly used.  I called support and they told me it was out of warranty and I would have to pay to get it fixed.  If that's the case I will NEVER BUY another HP product again.  Rep walked me through troubleshooting powering it up but still didn't work.  Anyone with the same issue?
