So I was on my laptop and it was working just fine I turned it off to take it into the other room and when I turned it back on the screen was black. I have ran thru all the trouble shooting tips and I’m stuck at resetting my bios after 40 seconds I see the caps lock key blinks 2 long white blings then two short and can hear it beep twice. when it does the long beeps I’m not sure what it means but I’m truly stumped on how to fix it or if it can’t be fixed.

Hi @Brendan_Rollins

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to help you with the Black Screen issue.

Please try these steps - HP PCs - Computer Does Not Start

If the issue still persists, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding this.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
