Boot device not found screen, only boots normally half the time.

When I open my computer, half the time it shows the "Boot device not found" screen. And the other half it boots fine. I've tried resetting to defaults. Is my hard drive dying, is there malware? I've tried backing up my files to a flash drive but it just wouldn't work, It recognized the flash drive, but it just wouldn't transfer. I waited for like 30 minutes and no progress was made! I can't afford to lose all my files. Please get back to me ASAP. Have a great night! 🙂

The “boot device not found,” “no boot device,” or “boot device not found please install an operating system” error occurs after a user has hit the power button, the system has gone through its initial BIOS system boot process, then at the point the operating system would normally start to load, you get a black screen, maybe a flashing white cursor, sometimes an insert boot disk error messages or a hard disk 3f0 error, then the system exits to the boot partition or recovery prompt.

So how do you fix it? You say it should exit that and boot normally. If I click exit, it boots right to the 3FO error again. Then after I reset my computer about 10 times, it finally boots normally. Is there any way to just get rid of the error message and boot my computer up normally every time? thanks.
