Greetings,

 

I was copying files from my phone to my Laptop via USB, suddenly the screen turned green with error saying "Windows Insider Build Ran into a problem" Error Code : STORE_EXCEPTION_ERROR. After that, it restarted the laptop and then I received an error saying "Boot device not found. Please install an operating system on your hard disk. Hard disk (3f0). F2 System Diagnostics. For more information, please visit : www.hp.com/go/techcenter/startup". After running the system diagonstics, Memory check runs correctly without any issue. Hard Drive Check does not run. It shows an error saying "No hard drive installed. Please check that the power and data cables are connected properly.". I have searched online and watched many videos on the problem but have not found any solution for the problem. Kindly help to resolve the issue.

Hello @Anchawale

As the error message says, you should check the hard disk. Often the connection cable has come loose.

 

HP Pavilion - 15-au623tx Product Specifications states:

Hard drive
1 TB 5400 rpm SATA

( mechanical hard drive )

 

If drive is dead replace with:

SAMSUNG 870 EVO SATA SSD 500GB 2.5” Internal Solid State Hard Drive

 

Reinstall Windows operating system using <HP Cloud Recovery> or official Windows Setup
