Upon starting the laptop, this error is coming up “Boot device not found. Please install an operating system on your hard disk (3F0)”. Performed a quick hard drive check from the prompt and the response was “SMART Check: Not installed; Short DST: Not installed.”  Performed the Quick Memory Test from the same prompt and the result Passed.

Crtl+alt+del brings me back to the same error.

What should we do?

This nearly always means the primary drive is failing, will need to be replaced, and Windows reinstalled on the PC.
