Hello, I'm Fred, newbie on this forum & French !

So greetings to all ...

I want to boot this comput from a usb device but i quant figure a way to do it.

Whatever the choice on BIOS (lets call it that way, not really uefi).

At most I get "boot from efi files" & no way to indicate a path to the unrecognized usb!

Yes, at least i can access BIOS !

There was previously win 10 and it was wiped out.

SSD 180g at this time but i will soon change for an EVO.

I try to install a linux system, Mageia7.1 (I'm French...).

I just updated BIOS: M71 Ver.01.28 published 04/18/2019

Is there a trick ???

I tried esc/F12/F9/F2 and nothing....

USB2 stick as a grub2 launcher installed

16g size, mga7.1 ~2,5g, persistence set to yes.

I would truly be grateful if one of you could help...

So I found the solution !

In fact, usb ports are not usable to boot on this machine as is...

I simply copied the stuff on microsd & it worked !

But I'm on Netrunner....

Never mind, i'm kind of distro hopper !

I'll give it a try for a while but I guess mga 7.1 +XFCE will be my next step...
