Product: HP Stream Laptop 11-ak0004nx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

Hello, I just got my new laptop and unboxed it, plugged in it the charger and it shows an orange light in the light port but the laptop is not turning on no matter how much I try, I used all the methods but it’s not starting up. Black screen, no fans working and no power on light indicator. What should I do? Should the laptop charge for a certain period of time on the first time before powering on?

Any new laptop will have some charge on the battery, even if not 100%.  So, if the new laptop is not powering on, even with a charger connected, that implies a serious hardware problem -- and with the Stream models, you are stuck.

 

IF this was mine, I would return it for a refund.
