I recently installed a new battery in my laptop: https://www.ebay.com/itm/253487292176

In HP Support Assistant, it said that no battery was detected. I reinstalled the battery after shutting down. The battery is detected and charges. Everyday, when I boot up my laptop without the AC adapter plugged into it, it shuts off then comes back on and this message eventually shows up.

The CMOS checksum is invalid.

The CMOS will be reset to the default configuration and will be rebooted.
Please check your BIOS Setup options to see if they changed.
CMOS Reset (502)
ENTER - Reboot the system

I have tried restoring the BIOS, deleting the battery driver in Device Manager, updating HP Support Assistant, ran Battery Check in HP Support Assistant with a fine report, reinstalling the battery after holding down the power button for 1 minute. Nothing works. I read about installing a new CMOS battery, but I can’t locate it in the laptop. Please help!
