Hello everybody,
I just bought a brand new HP 15-dk0156ng.
I5 9300 15,6" FHD, Intel i5-9300H,
16GB RAM, 512GB SSD + 32GB Optane,
GTX 1650,
FreeDOs
I tried to install windows 10 on it, downloaded 1903 and 1909 build and created a bootstick.
I activated legacy bootmode and disabled secure boot.
Botting from stick was no problem, but when I have to choose the partition I want to install windows, windows tells me the following:
( sry, i try to translate it.)
Windows can´t be installed on this harddisk. The computer maybe doesn´t support starting with that disk. Be sure you activated the disk controller in the BIOS/UEFI.
When I remove the NVME Disk and insert a SATA Disk, I can install it without any problems. As soon I put the NVME back in action, the system won´t boot up and I even get the error which is written above when I try to install windows on any of the disks.
I read, that in the bios guide there is a option to disable optane. This option is not avaiable for me (UEFI Version 20)
Could anybody help me? Or do I have to return the notebook to my reseller?
Greetings, Michael
