Can't enter UEFI
03-09-2021 11:36 AM - edited 03-10-2021 02:12 AM

I see a black screen while trying to enter UEFI. I can enter Windows 10 normally.
I tried a hard reset without removing a battery.
I tried to enter UEFI from Windows level (Start > Settings Update & Security > Recovery > Advanced startup > Restart now > Troubleshoot > Advanced options >UEFI Firmware Settings > Restart). I obtained a black screen.
I tried Esc + f10 and Win + B while rebooting. Black sceen.
I tried connecting the computer to an external display. Black screen.
Is there any way to fix UEFI and enter it?

Hi @Alele,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Have a great day!
