Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Upon booting up, it asked me to choose a keyboard language, which was odd because it never asked for that before.  Now the keyboard doesn't work.  When attempting to login using on-screen keyboard, every time I hit certain letters of the password, narrator says "hidden" and I can't enter the password.

 

Tried to enter system recovery etc using F1 on start up, but won't let me select any options....because the keyboard doesn't work.

I understand you are unable to log into windows as certain keys aren't working,

I'll be glad to help you out, however, for an accurate solution I will need more details:

 

What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824 

(Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).

Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?

Did you check with an alternate/external keyboard? (Please do, if you haven't)

Have you confirmed that none of the keys are physically stuck or damaged as that could be causing this issue?

 

Please reply with the details for further assistance.
