Hi there, I own a hp notebook equipped with hp surestart and need help identifying my issue that I have with the product. The computer is around 3-4 years old and I have never had a problem with it, however a couple days ago it was running fine and all of a sudden the screen went black and the caps lock light was blinking white with 3 long, 2 short which would indicate a memory error. But about a day after the incident I decided to give it one more try and got a cmos checksum error and told me to check if the bios settings had been changed. But alas, not more than 5 minutes later, the screen went black again and have not been able to boot since with the same blink code, I have tried many things and shortly realised that it may well be a bios issue, but with hp surestart and the automatic recovery settings not functioning, I am helpless, is there anything that i can do to rescue this pc, I have also tried the cmos reset procedure without any luck .
