Product: Hp Pavilion x360 convertible pc
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • My family member passed away I got his laptop and it has a password that I figure out and have no way to ask him I'd like not to lose what's on the laptop but if I do that's fine just want to use the computer for school

We are not permitted to assist in resetting passwords because HP considers that a violation of customer privacy. HP can assist in resetting passwords but if your original warranty has expired, they will charge you for the assistance.

For Admin password resets, you have to contact your regional HP Customer Support location directly for assistance.
