HP Spectre x360 - 13-ap0033dx
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi - I changed the battery on my Spectre x360 and now the computer will not boot.  The battery will still take a charge (amber light glows when battery is in and charging.  When the battery is out, the power button and charging port lights are both white and both blink slowly (~3seconds on, 2 seconds off). I have already tried the following:
- hard reset (holding the power button for 30 seconds (both with the battery in AND out)

- booting with the battery removed and the power cord in

- booting with the battery in

- botting while pressing F6 and F7 buttons

- booting while pressing the windows + V

booting while pressing the F10 key

Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

Hi @ehilburger,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

This looks like a hardware issue. This might require one-on-one interaction to fix the issue.

We have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our HP Support Engineers who should be able to sort this out. HP provides repair or service options as well. Hence I encourage you to contact HP support.

I've sent you a private message with further instructions. To access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
