Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing issues with your HP Chromebook - 14-Db0023dx wherein it is stuck on the Chrome OS screen.

Perform a hard reboot to unlock the Chromebook. Follow these steps to perform a hard reboot:

Turn off the computer.

Disconnect all peripheral devices and remove all USB devices and media cards.

Disconnect the AC power adapter and remove the battery.

Press and hold the power button for at least 7 seconds.

Reconnect the AC power adapter, but do not connect the battery.

Turn on the computer.

Remove the battery?? How and where is it? I’m assuming inside the unit.

Hi @Cody118,

If the battery is not removable, then you may skip that step.
