Chromebook 11G EE Not Powering On

Help! One of my student's Chromebooks stopped charging. I inspected the DC Jack input and noticed that it was stripped. I thought that by replacing that part, the problem would be solved. I took apart the Chromebook--disconnected the keyboard, unscrewed the battery and motherboard--and replaced the DC jack. After putting everything back, the Chromebook won't power on. Any advice?

It looks like a hardware issue, I recommend you contact HP phone support to check the available service options for the computer.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
