Clear BIOS Administartor / Power on Password for HP Pavilion 15

I have  a HP Pavilion Notebook 15 -aw084sa which has a BIOS password / power on password i did not set. How can i unlock it?

I have tried flashing the BIOS with Windows key and V with USB media attached  which goes through the process of flashing the BIOS and appears success in flashing  but oddly after the password prompt is still present!

i have tried Bios-pw dot org , and the pwgen-insyder.exe utility aswell neither worked.

I have cleared the CMOS with Windows key and V which shows it clears ok but again power on password still present.

That is a Disable Code but we're not permitted to provide Disable Code bypasses anymore.

BIOS and power-on passwords are contained in the firmware that is present inside the BIOS chips -- which are soldered to the motherboard and thus, are not replaceable. So, you can't just buy a replacement chip and swap them. Also, neither your nor HP can reset the BIOS password on the current motherboard. Thus, replacement of the motherboard is required with one that has a BIOS chip that does not have a password in the firmware. This is very expensive to do and can often cost more than simply replacing the PC

If you are not prepared to spend the money to get HP to replace the motherboard, you would have to take the PC to a local repair facility to see if they can do anything for you -- but we can not assist in that in any way.

Well it not the news i wanted but i thank you for your time giving me such a helpful response. I am surpirsed that flashing the BIOS does not remove the setting or clearing the BIOS. It's a shame to see a otherwise perfectly good laptop  go to waste.
