HP Recommended
Product: HP Compaq 6715b
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

My laptop has not been used for a number of years. I purchased a new battery and tried to power up. After holding the on/off button for about 5 seconds, the yellow charging light flashes for a few times, but then nothing happens. 

Help!!
