Hello, so i was about to do a factory restore on my computer later in the day, but i was unlucky that the computer stopped working 😞 When i turn it on it continuously beeps and won`t turn on, i have picked the option to `start windows normally` and even the option that checks/diagnoses the files (to fix the problem not letting me startup) but when it says `loading files` it starts beeping again and the process stops..

Someone please help me with this?

I also read that it `could` be a problem with the RAM, but maybe that was for a different problem or so, but if it is a problem with the RAM, then how can i fix it?

Hello Cosmic_Wolf,

I understand that you are having beeps at startup.

You may try to reseat the ram.

Remove the ram and reinsert.

Also do a hard reset.
Turn the computer off.
Remove the power cable and the battery.
Hold down the power button for 15 sec while booth power sources are removed.

This should reset the hardware in the computer.

As you turn it back on tap the F10 key. This will load BIOS setup utility.
Press F9 to load defaults.
Press F10 to save and exit.

When the computer boots back up, check to see if everything is working.

Let me know how everything goes.

If the problem isn't a stuck key try diagnosis, the computer I worked on recemntly Toshiba Sattelite runing Windows 7 it had 4 gb ram plenty so not a ram issue unless you find there are too many programs demanding ram.  if there are excess programs both online and windows programs all trying to start at boot up the computer is like a mother with twenty kids all wanting her attention the same time and she's like pulling her hair out and screaming like this computer at boot up.

Minimize start up programs to only those necessary for Windows boot and that cured this issue.
