Product: Example: HP Hewlett-Packard

My computer is locked and is wanting a password. I know my password but it will not take it when I hit the I forgot my password button it spends and the the screen goes dark and goes back to the same point.   image.jpg

Since there is no way to bypass the password, I suggest you perform a Reset
