pavilion 15-ab522tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a hp-pavilion 15-ab522tx notebook and apparently when i was carrying it , it was resting with both hands underneath as support. Then I heard a slight screech sound such as made by dvd reader. I ignored it and went onto youtube. For a while after it shutdown due to overheating and when I was starting my laptop it said  cooling fan is not working properly error 90b press enter to continue or the system will shutdown in 15 seconds but sever damage to data etc may occur. The fan didn't start at all! No noise.

FIX

As it a mechanical case i tried to blow air into the vents but my model is covered up pretty tight.

So i decided to dissemble it and diagnose the problem further more

https://m.youtube.com/?#/watch?v=EuovxquGRFk This link helped me even its another model.

Eveything was perfectly normal , i just cleared dust, spinned the fan few times and reassembled it and PRESTO! It wad working again and there was no error!!!. I hope this fix helps for those whose bios update and others failed.

Note: At a part of the video he takes 2 metal coverings on the bottom, dont worry there are just glued so dont to be afraid to use some little pressure on them and yank them. I used a hairpin and pushed them with ease.
