Product: EliteBook 840G3

Hello Community,

 

after replacing the Mainboard of my 840G3 I need after own research the DMI tool to put it into operation.
Can someone help me in this regard?

That tool is proprietary and HP does not release it to the public.

@WAWood: Thanks for the hint. What options do I have left now? Currently I can not use my laptop (EliteBook 840G3).

 

There must be a way for a regular User to take the laptop after a Motherboard replacement in Operation.
With a desktop PC, this is possible without any problems.

You would have to contact an HP repair facility and see what they will do for you ...
