DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (ndistpr64.sys)

Hi! @Danr1986,

Are you able to boot into the PC?

This file has been identified as a program that is undesirable to have running on your computer. This consists of programs that are misleading, harmful, or undesirable.

Try running a complete scan on the PC using the antivirus software.

Next, boot into the safe mode and rename the file.

To boot into safe mode turn on the PC and keep tapping the F8 key you should see the advanced boot options menu.

Select Safe mode with networking from the list.

Then Navigate to the following folder:

C:\Windows\System32\drivers
Check to see if the system file is located in there.
If so right-click the ndistpr64.sys and rename the ndistpr64.sys to ndistpr64.old
Then see if you can restart and run the computer in Normal Mode.
Type “msconfig” in the Search bar and navigate to the Boot tab.
In the Boot tab, uncheck the box next to the Safe boot option.
Click on OK and confirm that you are about to restart your computer.

Lastly, If you still have issues try performing a complete system reset on the PC.

Refer this article to know more information about performing a system reset. Click Here

Let me know if this works!

Take Care! 🙂
