Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

About 2 weeks ago, my computer froze. At that moment, I was listenin music, so music turned into glitch loop, which was a sign of freezing due something not related to software, I assumed. After 20 seconds it shutdown. It was overheated. I waited a bit and started again and it worked. At that evening, same problem happened again but this time, it didn't start after waiting for cooling down, capslock led was blinking. I check the blink code and found that memory problem, I took off and inserted memory modules again, led blinking now was gone but it was showing only black screen when I started pc. fan and hard drives were spinning but even hp logo didn't appear. After waiting 20 minutes in that situation, pc shutdown again. I tried power on several times with some breaks but always had same result. Then I cleaned the fan and fan vents also I applied thermal paste on cpu and gpu. This time pc didn't start either but at least it doesn't shotdown again after some time (I waited 4-5 hours and turned it off with power button).

How can I solve this problem?

Thanks in advance

Overheating can damage the motherboard and/or the video chipset soldered to it -- and in those cases, the PC might turn on and run, but you would see nothing on the screen, not even a flashing cursor/

Most likely, the PC is experiencing a major hardware failure. You MIGHT be able to run hardware diagnostics by pressing the Esc key repeatedly and then, when the HP Startup Menu appears, select Diagnostics (usually F2) and let it run.

If that does not work, then there is nothing more you can do by yourself -- and there is nothing we can do because we HERE have no way of diagnosing or repairing hardware problems.

You will need to have the PC physically examined in a service facility by folks that can run their own diagnostics to determine what is wrong with it.

Since your PC is no longer under warranty, then it will cost you up front to have HP examine your PC. If you want to do that, you will have to contact an HP Repair or Service Center to see if they can examine the PC to determine the cause(s) of the problems, if it can be repaired, and an estimate of the repair costs.
