I am yet another with a dead laptop.
Quoted 500$ to ship and repair!
What disgusts me is :
A: I've rarely used it
B: it is a known failure of motherboard
C: no recall to fix
So this company is in effect, charging us more money for a working computer. This is so wrong!! Last HP product I'll ever buy. As if they even care!

Is the Notebook not powering ON?
Do you get any errors?
Did you run the hardware diagnostics test and obtain a failure code?

Ive tried everything. Spoke with someone after being on hold for over an hour. I will be sending it back for repair.
