Elitebook 850 G6

The serial number on the back of my Elitebook 850 G6 is [personal info removed]. HP website says it doesn't know this number. My laptop does  not power up and since it is under warranty still, I want to have HP deal with this. So what does one do in a case like this?

@D_K_J

Please edit your post and REMOVE its s/n. I've no idea how the system works, I bought my HP Omen 15" machine 2 years and HP system does not know its s/n now.

Now, what are you looking for ? You may need to get its product ID to get support.

Regards.

Thanks BH for the reply (and thankfully the admin has removed the serial number). Good to know that the serial number lookup is broken not just for my case.

The product ID just takes you back to the serial number question. There is no phone or email to reach the support at. Perhaps I have to call a service center... Thats what I am going to try to do. It is frustrating that costs have to be cut so much that customer support/service isn't even a thing anymore.
