Microsoft Windows 11

I have a HP Pavilion 15 .  When  I have to slide it out, open the lid  each time and hit the power button to start it up again.  How can it have it start up without going through all of that?

Your machine is designed that way: you have to open the lid then press power button. Some other machines (not Pavilion at this stage) you can power machine when power on its dock.

One example my machine which is an HP 840 G5 and its dock is HP USB-C G5 I can use single cable option and power on machine (lid close) from the dock and turn them off using normal turn off my machine.

I don't know what is your machine to be able to see you can do that or not. You can use
