Hello,
while i was updating windows 10 to the 20H2 version, at the point of restart, the notebook gave the message:
"Boot Device Not Found
Please install an operating system on your hard disk
Hard Disk (3f0)
F2 System Diagnostics"
By pressing F2 and doing the "Hard Drive Check" I get the message:
"SMART Check : PASSED
long DST : FAILED
FAILURE ID : UBQ942-9AQAHG-XD7W2K-619D03
PRODUCT ID : 5CS22EA#AB7
Hard Drive 1"
Please advice.
Thank you.

Hi:
Below is the failure report generated by the code you posted, minus your notebook's serial number.
UBQ942-9AQAHG-XD7W2K-619D03 | OK | XXXXXXXXXX | 2/17/21 | 305 | Storage | Floppy Drive, Hard Drive, Memory Drive, Optical Drive, SCSI, Tape Drive | Hard Disk 1 Full Test Failure |
You will need to install a new drive and reinstall the operating system.
I can't find any specs on your notebook, but if it has a 2.5" mechanical hard drive, you may want to consider replacing it with a better performing 2.5" solid state drive (SSD).
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

After you replace the drive, use the HP cloud recovery tool with another PC running W7 64 bit or newer, to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use that utility...

You're very welcome.
It may be totally unacceptable, but it is what it is.
It is not a matter of if a hard drive will fail but a matter of when.
Yours happened to fail a bit early.
I do not work for or represent HP, so please don't use me to vent your frustrations.
