Hello, the fan in my laptop has stopped working. Now, every time I start the laptop, it shuts off after about 10 minutes. Do you know if it's possible for me to purchase a replacement fan and install it myself?

Hi @jmmsiy
Are you 100% sure the fan is not spinning ? Have you opened your notebook computer (a.k.a. removed back/bottom cover) ?
Could it be the fan cluttered with dust ?
I would recommend you try this generic article for troubleshooting overheating >> https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_3045299-2819686-16
If you still want to replace your fan:
- this can be done free of charge if your PC is in warranty
- for a fee if your PC is not in warranty
For both cases, contact HP Support for your country and the agents will assist you >> https://support.hp.com/gr-el/contact
Reach them in business (working) hours.
