Faulty bios update has bricked my Pavilion 15

HP Recommended
HP Pavilion - 15-cw1011nc
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

now being in never ending loop of trying to recover bios without any success

no suggested solution from any HP pages helped me solve the problem - did try usb recovery, win+B, win+V

did call HP Support in Czechia - and I was told that the upgrade has probably ruined my CPU or motherboard

cannot understand, why this upgrade is still available for DOWNLOAD!

@Ivo75 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the faulty BIOS update has bricked my Pavilion 15.

In that case, I would suggets you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Or you can contact the local service center for repair.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.

Keep us posted,

If you would like to thank us for our efforts to help you,

how can I "Give us a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon below, followed by clicking on the "Accept as solution" on this post" or thank you for your help?

I am in contact with local HP support (no help over the phone actually), I am in contact with my local HP service (which means i am without my laptot for 14 days in minimum)

but, I really can not understand, how HP can have the same bios update available for download, even being automatically proposed for update, when there are many users reporting this update to be faulty and bricking laptops - this would have never happened if my laptop did not tell me to update and I clicked OK!
